Biography

Vlasta J. Alfirevic nee Stoklasa, 92, of North Riverside, passed away on July 16th at Loyola Medical Center. Val is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, John, daughter Michelle (Steve) Rychly, grandchildren Sean and Johnathan Rychly and Nadene (Kevin) Holmes, and Great-Grandchildren, Kaylin and Sarah Holmes. She was preceded in death by her daughter Maureen Eleveld. She was a native of Berwyn and one of the “Greatest Generation”. She was a member of Mater Christi Church. Her family and extended family will miss her culinary arts, her sweet smile and infectious laughter. She will be remembered by all whose presence she touched, as well as those who knew her intimately.
